IN MEMORIAM

MILOVAN VITOMIROV

(20.02.1923-01.10.2005)

Milovan Vitomirov (Uncle Milovan as everybody used to call him) is one of the most popular names in history of serbain and formerly Yugoslavian cynology. He was the owner of kennel ”Sandisova”. His speciality in dogs and his successes remained unexceeded down to the present day. He achieved top-class results within three races in the same time- with german hunt terrier, english pointers and german shorthaired pointers.

He bred lots of champions, both in beauty and work. First pointer which united champion titles in work and beauty on the territory of former Yugosalvia was his breeding - Black Sandis .

In addition to that, he was a great man who handed down unselfishly his knowledge and experience. He sacrificed many things in life because of wish to create top-class dog.

He was an international cynology judge, and was dealing with lot of other functions in The Cynology Association of Yugoslavia, among which he was the president of The Cynology Association of Serbia.

I will mention only few Uncle Milovan's champions ( GSPs): Astor vom Taublerhof, Bek Astor, Apis, Tango, Megi, Beta , Bita, Remo Sandisova, Rita Sandisova, Rina Sandisova, Rona Sandisova, Tedi Sandisova, Toni Sandisova, Timi Sandisova, Amor Sandisova, Roki-Koki .

I'll make an effort as much as I can to cherish my great friend and techer's memory, on such a great man like Milovan Vitomirov.

I'll take this opportunity to say once again - THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.
